The Bungalow

A two-storey Tudor design bungalow with two bedrooms with a queen and a single bed and a bedroom with twin bed on the first floor sharing two bathrooms, and an additional bedroom with a queen and single bed with an attached bathroom on the ground floor. The bungalow is let out as a whole house on a daily basis.


Check-in time is after 2.00p.m. of the first day of the intended period of stay. All guests are required to register their particulars in a guest register on check-in.


Guests should vacate the bungalow by 12.00 p.m. of the last day of their intended stay. If there are no reservations for that day, guests may arrange to stay on till 6.00 p.m. An additional half-day rental is chargeable and is to be paid directly to the caretaker.


A reservation will only be confirmed upon receipt of full payment of rent for the whole period of rental. Charges for additional persons exceeding ten (10) intending to stay at the bungalow should be paid at this time, or can be paid directly to the caretaker upon arrival.

The caretaker retains full right to refuse occupancy to any person(s) exceeding ten (10) if additional charges remain unpaid.


  1. Weekends (Friday to Sunday), Malaysian and Singapore Eve of Public Holidays & Public Holidays, and School Holidays:

    RM1,800.00 per day up to 10 persons.
    *Additional RM80.00 per extra adult per day. Half rates for children aged 12 and below.

  2. Other Days

    RM1,200.00 per day up to 10 persons.
    *Additional RM50.00 per extra adult per day. Half rates for children aged 12 and below.

*Subject to a maximum occupancy of 12 persons, inclusive of children.

Cancellation Charge

No refund will be given for a cancellation of a rental except that a refund of 50% will be made if the cancellation is notified not less than two weeks before the commencement of the rental period, or four weeks in the case of a rental period falling within the school holidays or over a public holiday in Malaysia or Singapore.

House Service

From 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. daily.

Getting There

From Kuala Lumpur, you can take a taxi or the Express Nasional scheduled bus service that leaves the Pudu Raya Bus Terminal at 8.30 a.m. Or, you can make your way to Tapah where you can make the ascent to the top by car, bus or taxi. The ascent is gradual and the scenery along the way is filled with tumbling waterfalls, mountain streams and majestic tropical trees.

We regret that cooking by tenants cannot be permitted.

Our housekeeper, Mr.Choong Chee Fu, will be able to provide the following meals:

Chinese Lunch
Western Lunch
Afternoon Tea
Chinese Dinner
Western Dinner

Special meal arrangements can be made with Mr. Choong, at prices to be mutually agreed upon. Please enquire if you wish to make arrangements.


A telephone is installed at the house for the convenience of guests. We ask that you record all trunk call charges and pay these directly to the housekeeper on departure.

Cameron Highlands currently has 011, 010 and 012 coverage in certain areas.

Other Payments to Caretaker

All charges incurred for catering, drinks, telephone calls, firewood, etc. are to be paid directly to the housekeeper prior to departure. A receipt will be issued for these payments.


Generally, a 10% gratuity on charges incurred during your stay for food, drinks, etc. is regarded as suitable but may vary according to special circumstances, and remain at the discretion of guests.

Damages or Loss

Most furniture and fittings in this house have been placed by members and friends of the Eu family and we ask that guests take all reasonable care to preserve these items. Guests, however, have to be responsible for damages, breakages or loss of items during their stay and will be charged for replacement or repair.

Please let Mr.Choong know if any item has been inadvertently broken or damaged during your stay.

Licence to Use

The let of the bungalow does not constitute a tenancy in favour of the guests but a mere licence to use the bungalow for the rental period and does not in any way confer upon the guests any contractual or statutory right to remain in occupation of the bungalow beyond the rental period. The Management reserves the right to terminate or cancel any reservation before or during the rental period without prior notice and without any reason being given.

Exclusion of Liability

All persons using the bungalow whether as guests or otherwise use the same at their own risk and The Management will not be responsible nor will it accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by any person including injury or death whilst on the premises.
